Working with Clay

After many years of working with clay, mainly as slabs & tiles, a change was needed and on discovering a coarse textured clay, suitable for larger outside pieces, my imagination was fired to make some bigger pieces for the garden.

Animals and Pots

I’ve always made sheep & farmyard animals so it was natural to continue. They each have their own quirky character and are being joined by more creatures as time goes on. A range of planters, animals and more one-off work is underway based on patterns found in nature and my surroundings of the Pennine landscape.
