Sue Jenkins Pottery is a small studio in Holmfirth, in the Pennines of
West Yorkshire, making original hand made stoneware for the house or garden
(all pieces are frost-proof).
After many years of working with clay, mainly as slabs & tiles, a change
was needed and on discovering a coarse textured clay, suitable for larger
outside pieces, my imagination was fired to make some bigger pieces for
the garden.
I’ve always made sheep & farmyard animals so it was natural
to continue. They each have their own quirky character and are being joined
by more creatures as time goes on. A range of planters,
animals and more
one-off work is underway based on patterns found in nature and my surroundings
of the Pennine landscape.
Please look through my online pottery shop and do not hesitate to contact
me if you would prefer to order on the telephone.
